Famous actor Matthew McConaughey is going to be moving to Austin, TX in 2016.
He was Texas born, and now he is an Academy Award winner actor. Now he is going back to his home state to help teach a FILM class. That’s right ladies and gentleman!
The University of Texas in Austin, TX announced just this morning that the award winning actor would be helping teach one of their classes in the Fall 2016. It gets better though, it isn’t just going to be Matthew McConaughey who is teaching the class.
The director of the Hunger Games, Gary Ross, will also be helping teach the class at Moody College of Communication next semester.
The class will only be available to juniors and seniors. There will also be no prerequisites required nor any extra fees. This is HUGE for not only the school but for any film student who is able to get in on this class!
There were also 30 very very lucky students who got a VERY special treat. It was a higher level class where Matthew McConaughey and Gary Ross will walk them through their newest film “Free State of Jones”.

Wether it was in his earlier films or when achieved much success in 2013 for portraying a cowboy diagnosed with AIDS in the biographical film Dallas Buyers Club, which earned him both the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Actor, among other awards and nominations.
