Martina shared about the death on her Instagram stating that John and his wife were two of the most amazing people that she had ever met in her life. Flavia passed away about two years ago, and till this day Martina holds both of her in laws to the highest respect.
I can’t imagine the pain that her husband, John, must be feeling losing his father only two years after his mother.
I've had more great meals and great memories around this table than I can count. My mother-in-law was a fantastic cook and an amazing hostess and right beside her for 59 years was her husband John. They were two of the best people I have ever known. She left us 2 years ago and we have said our goodbyes to them both now. I'm just happy that they are together again. #wichita #family #johnandflavia
Eldest John graduated from Wichita East High School and he received both his B.A. and his J.D. in Law from Kansas University. After he finished up law school he made the decision to serve in the United States Air Force. He was based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
He eventually went back to school and gained his Masters in Anthropology from Southern Illinois University. Not only that but he also finished his Doctorate of Anthropology at Wichita State University. After that he became professor of Anthropology and business at the same school.
