Famous country music star’s family sues hospital after his tragic death. I can’t believe it.
It was about two years ago that lead singer to one of the most legendary bands of all time passed away. Glenn Frey was considered one of the greatest artists to ever hit the music scene.
We were all heartbroken to hear about his tragic death. Now, we are all shocked to hear that his wife has sued the hospital at which he died.
Furthermore, Glenn Frey‘s wife recently opened up saying that the end-of-life medical team failed to properly treat him. Apparently, the medical team assisting him failed to advise the family of the risks and side effects of treatment as well.
It has been reported that the lawsuit was filed in New York nearly two years after his death. Furthermore, she shared that Frey was “rendered sick, sore, lame and disabled” and suffered pain and mental anguish before dying.
The singer was being treated at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan and Dr. Stephen Itzkowitz was the doctor named for taking care of him.
According to reports, Cindy Frey also alleges her husband was not hospitalized promptly and an infection was not treated properly. Meanwhile, Frey was suffering many health issues at the time and he actually died from acute ulcerative colitis, pneumonia and rheumatoid arthritis.
Furthermore, as of now the hospital hasn’t commented on the lawsuit. Neither has a representative for Dr. Irzkowitz. Furthermore, it hasn’t been clarified as to what Mrs. Frey is wanting in return or the motivation behind filing years after his death.
Frey was considered to have the voice of an angel, and the band will never be the same. As of late, the band has brought in Glenn’s son Deacon and country singer Vince Gill to help with vocals.
This is bizarre. I never expected this…
