Carrie Underwood just broke the silence after her major loss, leaving thousands in tears…
This week hasn’t been the best week for Carrie Underwood and her husband, Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher. The Predators experienced a heart wrenching loss while competing in the Stanley Cup play offs and it may take them a while to shake it off.
Although they lost in the playoffs, they had a great year and made Predator’s history. We weren’t sure what to expect from either Carrie Underwood of Mike Fisher after the devastating loss but it seems that both of them are trying to see the positive in the situation..
First, Mike posted on his Instagram account thanking his team for an “unforgettable year”. He even thanked them for all of the memories that they made together.
Thank you preds fans for an unforgettable year! You brought passion like the NHL has never seen before and made me so proud to wear the jersey! You guys made this experience the best year of my career and can't thank you enough for the support and for the memories that I'll never forget!! #smashville #standwithus
Things took a surprising turn with Carrie Underwood after the Predators lost. During the play offs she would tweet her thoughts and complain about unfair calls, but it was different this time.
Underwood stayed silent for quite a while, and it wasn’t until a couple of hours ago that she broke the silence. Not saying anything about the huge loss, Underwood posted a photo of her and her husband. She shared that they were so thankful for everyone that they have made memories with and that this was something they will cherish forever.
Carrie had the honor to sing the National Anthem to kick of the big game too! Her vocals are like an Angel’s. You can watch her performance in the video below:
I’m glad they are keeping their heads up after a loss like that! I admire them both so much!
