Famous television star just finished her second round of chemo for breast cancer. Praying for you!
The beautiful american actress, comedienne, and producer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus just shared that she has completed her second round of chemo. She posted the news on her Instagram trying to keep things lighthearted.
She posted a picture of herself with a drawn on mustache saying that she’s not “F—–g around.” Julia is serious about this fight, and she’s determined to win!
Continuing she thanked Katy Perry and some other artists for their incredible inspiration during this heartbreaking and challenging time in her life.
Chemo #2: finito. We are NOT f—-g around here. “I’ve got the eye of the tiger. The Fighter dancing through the fire cuz I am a champion and your’re going to hear me ROAR.” Thanks to @mrtonyhale & @timothycsimons & @katyperry for their hilarious and loving inspiration.
This comes just a few weeks after announcing that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Meanwhile, trying to stay positive Julia shared that she has one of the most supportive groups surrounding her.
Her family and friends are going to be with her the entire way to help her get through this hard life-threatening battle. Of course it was a devastating time for her. But she has continued to keep a tough and positive attitude about the diagnosis.
“1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one,” Louis-Dreyfus wrote in her cancer announcement. “The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring friends. And fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky. So let’s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality.”
It’s always heartbreaking to see such a talented and beautiful star get hit with a diagnosis like this. Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she battles this out.
Following the initial announcement, her HBO family released a heartfelt statement.
“Our love and support go out to Julia and her family at this time,” HBO said in a statement. “We have every confidence she will get through this with her usual tenacity and undaunted spirit, and look forward to her return to health and to HBO for the final season of ‘Veep.’” (HBO and CNN share parent company Time Warner.)
Praying for you Julia!!
