Former President Jimmy Carter hospitalized a couple of days ago. Thankfully, his family shared the emotional announcement. He has been discharged.

Carter is building houses at the site in Winnipeg. That’s when he fell ill. Apparently, he is extremely dehydrated.

Immediately, he is taken to the hospital for observation.

“President Carter is okay and is being taken offsite for observation. Regardless, he encourages everyone to stay hydrated and keep building.”

Of course, we are worried to hear that he is was the hospital. Especially after his cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately, in August he was diagnosed with melanoma and it spread to his brain.

Meanwhile, he is no longer needing treatment but will do them if necessary. Therefore, this may be a factor in his extreme dehydration.

“In August 2016, Carter revealed he was diagnosed with melanoma. It spread to his brain. He announced last May he no longer needed treatment. He will “resume treatment if necessary.”

Thankfully, a spokesperson for the family announced that he is discharged. He was at St. Boniface General Hospital. Therefore, after his discharge returned to Habitat for Humanity. The home-building project.

Carter joined Habitat as the organization builds 150 homes. They are for those in Canada who are in need. This was in honor of the country’s 150th anniversary.

“The former president and his wife are in Edmonton. Building 75 homes, from Monday to Wednesday. Then the couple joined hundreds of volunteers working on 25 homes. This time in the St. James community.”

Although, no one has said exactly how his health is. Therefore, we are still praying for complete recovery. This is such scary thing for the Carter family. Finally, I wish them nothing but the best.
