Miley Cyrus has just made an announcement that has us all in tears. I didn’t expect this…
Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter have been the talk of the town the past few years. After their Hannah Montana days Miley took quite the turn. Now she is hoping to redeem herself.
The past few months Miley has went from the skimpiest outfits to a more conservative style. Many have wondered why the sudden change, and it’s not for the reason you think.
Miley didn’t love who she was, but she did want to stop feeling so sexualized. In a recent interview with Harpers Bazzaar she opened up about her change.
“It became something that was expected of me,” she tells the magazine’s August. “I didn’t want to show up to photo shoots and be the girl who would get my t*** out and stick out my tongue. In the beginning, it was kind of like saying, ‘F*** you. Girls should be able to have this freedom or whatever.’ But it got to a point where I did feel sexualized.”
That’s only one reason that Cyrus wanted to reinvent herself, though. Her new album isn’t wild, but a breezier, folksier sound. She said that she feels “far away” from the person she was on her last album.
Cyrus is beyond excited to share this new journey with her fans. She even shared the news on her Twitter page urging fans to get the magazine where she shares all of her thoughts on the “new Miley”.

One thing Miley doesn’t want is for people to think that she has never been herself. Although she had a wild side, she says that it’s who she really was.
According to her, she has been a lot of different people.
“I just want people to see that this is who I am right now. I’m not saying I’ve never been myself,” she said. “Who I was on the last record was really who I am. It’s just ‘myself’ has been a lot of different people because I change a lot.”
A lot of folks have lost respect for Miley since her wild years. She still sees herself as a role model, though.
“I think I show people that they can be themselves,” she told the magazine. “Also think something that has been important for me, in this next little, like, transition phase of my career, is that I don’t give a f*** about being cool. I just want to be myself.
This is so emotional. What a great fresh start! She looks beautiful…
