Famous Hollywood star just found dead at age 46. I can’t believe that she’s really gone.
She is known for her roles in “Heaven & Earth,” “Cruel Intentions” and “Green Dragon.” Hiep Thi Le was found dead at age 46 according to reports.
Apparently, the actress died due to complications from stomach cancer. She passed away Tuesday in Los Angeles and fans everywhere are heartbroken.
The 1993 war drama was a starring role for Le. It has also become her best-known work, and launched her into her acting career.
In the film she was a woman living through the aftermath of the Vietnam War. Le was selected by Stone from thousands of candidates at an open casting call.
Right after the film, she snatched several roles across film and television. That eventually bled into the restaurant business, serving as chef of China Beach Bistro in Venice, California.
Not long after, she became a chef and owner of Le Cellier. Le Cellier is a French-Vietnamese fusion restaurant in Marina Del Rey, California.
She also competed on Food Network show “Chopped” back in 2014. That’s not all that she was known for though, she also wrote a memoir.
Unfortunately it has not yet been published. The memoir is titled “Daughter of the Sea: My Voyage to Freedom and Womanhood.” No one is sure when or if the memoir will still be published after her death.
She is survived by her husband, two children and six siblings, who now live in Los Angeles. Please continue to pray for her family and friends during this heartbreaking time.
Le is an inspiration to women everywhere. She has been through tough times in this life but she has fought hard to be successful and inspirational.
She is a true legend and she will never be forgotten. Fans everywhere have expressed their condolences and their heartbreak.
