Famous music star was just found dead in his Los Angeles home. Cause of death has not yet been released.
He is a well known Chicago-based rapper and older cousin of Chief Keef. Fredo Santana passed away on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, he was 27 at the time of his passing. Furthermore, the report states that he passed away in his home in Los Angeles. As of now, the cause of death has not officially been released.
What we do know is that he was in the hospital back in October for serious liver and kidney problems. Meanwhile, he shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram at the time, but no one knew that it was really that bad.
He was originally born as Derrick Coleman but is known for his stage name, Fredo Santana. It was in 2012 that he started his career with a bang with the release of his mixtape, “It’s a Scary Site.”
He released his debut album, “Trappin Ain’t Dead” in 2013. Furthermore, from there the rest was history and his fan base continued to grow until the day of his death.
The music star has also been featured on music with his cousin, Chief Keef. He has worked alongside many rappers, including Kendrick Lamar, Soulja Boy, and the group Migos.
Fredo was no ordinary rapper, and many say that they expected him to be at the top before too long. His dark rhyming lyrics were capturing the hearts of fans all over the world.
Santana will be missed deeply. This was completely unexpected, and we hope that it was peaceful.
