Legendary music star was just found dead at age 57 leaving his family behind. Prayers for all of them…
He is the vocalist for the pioneering alt-metal outliers Faith No More. Chuck Mosley passed away on Thursday at the age of 57 according to reports.
Mosley was not jus any singer in a rock band. He pioneered what would eventually become rap-rock on the band’s first hit, 1987’s snarky MTV breakthrough “We Care a Lot.”
Not long after, he decided to leave the band and did a stint as the singer of Bad Brains in the early Nineties. Furthermore, he eventually went off on his own for a solo career but still makes appearances since Faith No More’s 2009 reunion.
Mosley was sober for a long period of time before his heartbreaking and sudden death.
Mosley’s family confirmed the news releasing a heartfelt statement. Meanwhile, the star was survived by his partner, two daughters and a grandson.
They are accepting donations for all funeral arrangements as well. Meanwhile, this has been such a shock and tragedy to his entire family. Everyone thought that he was completely sober, but he relapsed hard.
“After a long period of sobriety, Charles Henry Mosley III lost his life, on November 9th, 2017, due to the disease of addiction,” Mosley’s family wrote in a statement. “We’re sharing the manner in which he passed, in the hopes that it might serve as a warning or wake up call or beacon to anyone else struggling to fight for sobriety. He is survived by long-term partner Pip Logan, two daughters, Erica and Sophie and his grandson Wolfgang Logan Mosley. The family will be accepting donations for funeral expenses.”
This is a heartbreaking and unexpected time for his entire family. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they mourn his loss.
RIP Mosley, you will be missed.
