Legendary music star just announced dead after nasty fall. Prayers for the family.
He was known for playing with the legendary band, The Zombies. The Zombies were the group he had played with since 1999.
Furthermore, the bassist Jim Rodford has died after a fall. Reports share that he was 76 at the time of his death.
Rodford’s death was confirmed on the band’s public Facebook page on Saturday, leaving thousands in tears. Meanwhile, the co-founder of the Zombies, Rod Argent released the statement to confirm the death.
He says that his cousin and longtime bandmate was a “magnificent bass player.” The bass player joined The Kinks in 1978.
He starting touring with the group and even had the opportunity to play on their other albums. Ray Davies, The Kinks’ co-founder, tweeted that Rodford was “an integral part of the Kinks later years.”
