Famous music legend just shared an emotional announcement after an almost fatal shooting. I didn’t expect him to say this…
Rockstar, Ted Nugent, is known for his outspoken personality and hatred when it comes to politics. He has always been very open about his beliefs and what he supports many times totally disrespecting people in office.
In one statement in particular he told President Obama to “suck on my machine gun” and labeling him a “subhuman mongrel.” That wasn’t the end either, Nugent also called Hillary Clinton a “worthless b—h.” Just by those two statements alone you can see how passionate he is.
Now, after a GOP baseball practice was the target of a shooting on Wednesday morning, critically wounding House Majority Whip Steve Scalise he says he is toning down his “hateful rhetoric.”
“I’m not going to engage in that kind of hateful rhetoric anymore,” Nugent said Thursday on the WABC radio show “Curtis & Eboni.”
After the shooting took place he is going to be much more careful and thoughtful when it comes to being the “tough guy”. The shooting really convicted him and the things he was saying about those in politics.
“At the tender age of 69, my wife has convinced me that I just can’t use those harsh terms,” Nugent said. “I cannot and I will not.”
The rockstar didn’t just want to have a change in his own heart, but he urged all of his fans, friends and enemies to watch what they say about others. He said that both sides have to be civil with each other regardless of beliefs.
He is wanting everyone on both sides to be more respectful towards each other, because no one should almost lose their life just for the stance they take in politics.
“friends [and] enemies on the left in the Democrat and liberal world that we have got to be civil to each other, that the whole world is watching America, where you have the God-given right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and we have got to be more respectful to the other side.”
I did not expect him to be convicted like this! Everyone needs to read this!!
