Music legend gives update on cancer battle and has fans praying harder than ever before.
Singer Michael Buble and his wife have been through one of the toughest battles of their life recently. The star and his wife,Luisana Lopilato, released the news a couple of months ago that their son, Noah had been diagnosed with cancer.
After the diagnoses both Michael and Luisana made the decision to put their careers on hold to be with their baby during his battle. They didn’t want him to feel left alone at all during his fight but they wanted him to feel 100% supported.
The family released a statement sharing that family is very important to them and that they want to spend all of their attention to help Noah get better.
“We’ve always talked a lot about the importance of the family and the love we have for our children. Katie and I are going to spend all our time and attention to help Noah to get better, by suspending our professional activities for now,” Buble wrote. “During this difficult time, we ask that you pray for him and please respect our privacy. We have a long road ahead of us and we hope that with the support of our family, friends, fans around the world and our faith in God, we can win this battle.”
No one was sure how long Michael was going to put his career on hold, but now it may be a little longer than we all expected. Bell Media recently made an announcement stating that Michael has officially dropped out of hosting Canada’s biggest music awards show, the Juno Awards.
The awards show was scheduled to be held on April 2, 2017 and now that Michael still won’t leave Noah’s side, we are all a little worried. The statement that was released shared that they are supportive of Michael’s decision to be with his son, and that they can’t wait to work with him again in the future.
“Our thoughts continue to be with Michael — we respect his ongoing commitment to his family and look forward to working with him again in the future..”
The good news is that according to Luisana’s post back in February the doctors are optimistic about Noah’s future. She says that he has been so brave and that they are inspired by his strength.
“We are very grateful to report that our son Noah has been evolving favourably during your treatment, and doctors are very optimistic about the future of our little boy. He has been brave at all times and we continue to be inspired by your courage.”
This is so heartbreaking…please say a prayer for Noah in the comments below!!!
