Famous music star was just forced to cancel concerts after emergency surgery is performed. This is so scary.
It was a normal day for music legend John Mayer until he was rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy in New Orleans. Apparently it was in the early hours of this morning that he started having serious pain and went to the emergency room.
Little did he know he would be forced to cancel his concerts and have an emergency appendectomy performed the same day. Dead & Company confirmed the news on their Twitter account sharing the heartbreaking news.
Early this morning, Tuesday, December 5th, John Mayer was admitted into the hospital for emergency appendectomy forcing the Dead & Company December 5th concert in New Orleans to be postponed.
According to the post, the concert has only been postponed and not completely canceled. Apparently two of his other December shows are set to go on. But of course that can change depending on how he is feeling after the surgery.
This was a complete shock to John and his entire team. As of now, no health updates have been given.
We don’t know if his surgery went well or if he is still in the hospital after the surgery. This type of surgery is usually a very minor surgery with small incisions. There is a possibility that he would have had to get a huge incision across his abdomen.
John is set to continue touring as long as he is feeling up to hit after the surgery. No other word has been released on how he went to the emergency room. Or if he had been struggling with this issue for quite some time.
Although this is an easy surgery, recovery can still be tough. Sending prayers to John during this time.
Praying for a quick and easy recovery!
