Legendary star was just found dead after a long battle with pneumonia. Prayers for the family during this heartbreaking time.

She is a former child star and played one of the original Mouseketeers on “The Mickey Mouse Club.” Her big appearance was in the 1950s and she was the cutest of them all.

Disney publicist Howard Green confirmed the death of Doreen Tracey stating that she was 74 years old at the time of her passing. The report confirmed that Tracey died from pneumonia on Wednesday at a hospital in Thousand Oaks, California.

Her death is following a two-year battle with cancer, that we all hoped she would overcome. We are heartbroken to hear of her death.

Throughout her time in the show business she maintained a great relationship with Disney. She was in “Westward Ho the Wagons!” and touring with the Mouseketeers.

Later on she went to be a publicist to the musician Frank Zappa and worked at Warner Bros for quite some time.

It was the pig-tailed Tracey and her talented co-stars. Including Annette Funicello. Who appeared on television in black hats with ears following the anthem “M-I-C, K-E-Y, M-O-U-S-E .” on ABC’s “The Mickey Mouse Club.” Millions of kids raced home from school to watch in wonder as the bouncy Mouseketeers. Announced themselves at the top of the show. -Legacy

It wasn’t until she was 4 years old that she moved to the United States and learned to sing and dance. When she was 12 years old is when she got the spot on Mickey Mouse.

Tracy always stayed connected to her Mickey Mouse friends. And they were always considered some of the best in the business. It wasn’t until she posed  for a men’s magazine in 1976 with nothing on except her mouse ears that her relationship with Disney was ruined.

And later wearing nothing but an open trench coat in front of Disney Studios. She would still show to some reunions though.

Prayers for the family during this time.
