Police issue warrant for famous TV star’s arrest, I didn’t expect this from him…
It appears that police are now on the hunt for “Deadliest Catch” star Jake Harris. The television star failed to show up to a court date on Friday in Phoenix, Arizona and there is now a warrant out for his arrest.
Many were shocked to hear that the 31-year-old failed to show up to his hearing and now many are wondering why.
“Fox News can confirm that Harris, who formerly appeared on the hit Discovery Channel series, had a bench warrant placed on him by a Maricopa County judge following his failure to appear in court on May 12, 2017.”
TMZ reported the news saying that Harris was already facing 2 felony drug possession charges when he skipped a hearing Friday in Phoenix. According to the court documents that were obtained by the news site, the judge didn’t waste any time. He immediately issued a bench warrant for Harris’ arrest.
It was just last month that Harris was hunted down after he was caught driving off in his friend’s car. He was found the following day and to our surprise he was possessing both Xanax and crystal meth.
After Jake’s father, Phil Harris, passed away in 2010 Jake said that he was going to take over his father’s responsibilities. It was just two years later that Deadliest Catch left the small screen and he never took the captions chair.
“I’m going to be looking at that [captain’s] chair in a different way. We definitely talked about it, but I just didn’t think it would happen so soon. That’s definitely something where I would take over and take the responsibility.”
We are heartbroken to hear that Jake is going through such a traumatic time right now, and we hope that things get better for him soon.
We are praying for you Jake!
