REPORT: TV Star Just Plead Guilty To Child Rape, This Is So Sad


Famous television star just plead guilty to child rape. I can’t believe he did this!

He is one of the biggest star’s in TLC’s “The Willis Family.” Toby Willis is going to prison after pleading guilty to child rape.

TMZ reported the case saying that Willis is heading to prison for 40 years for raping a child more than a decade ago. He finally plead guilty to 4 counts of child rape on Tuesday in court in Cheatham County, Tennessee.

“At the D.A.’s request, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation began investigating Willis in August 2016 in connection with the sexual abuse of an underage girl about 12 years earlier, when the girl was between 3 and 13 years old, authorities have said.”


Willis was arrested in September 2016 after fleeing from law enforcement. For those who don’t know, “The Willis Family” is about his huge family.

He his wife and 12 children between the ages of 5 and 24 who make up a country music band. The show was canceled last year before charges were filed.

Apparently, network did extensive background checks on Toby and his family before the show. Nothing was a red flag in the process so they moved forward with the show.

A rep for the networks shared that they haven’t aired an episode of the show since April 2016 and they were, “shocked to hear the news.” It was such a shock to many, and we are heartbroken to hear that it’s true.

Willis pled guilty to 4 counts of child rape Tuesday in court in Cheatham County, Tennessee. He received two 25-year sentences and two 40-year sentences to run concurrently … and we’re told he won’t get out until 2057.

After performing on America’s Got Talent in 2014, the family quickly became a fan favorite. This is unfortunate that this has come back to haunt their family.

“Although the criminal case has concluded with Toby Willis receiving 40 years for the crimes he committed. The impact on the victims will remain much longer. The family is appreciative and grateful that people have respected their need for privacy during this trying time. They ask for continued respect as they seek to move forward.”
