He ain’t goin nowhere!
Unique to all of football are the head coaches of the Pittsburgh Steelers. They have had three head coaches since 1969, each of them has won at least one Super Bowl.
Pittsburgh makes sure Mike Tomlin isn’t going anywhere anytime soon!
Mike Tomlin, the latest of those coaches, just resigned an extension to stay on as Pittsburgh’s head football coach through 2020. Tomlin has 103 wins in 10 season, including 8 playoff wins and a Super Bowl Crown in 2008.
We have extended Coach Mike Tomlin’s contract through the 2020 season.

Winning is in the Steelers blood, it’s all he knows how to do!
Tomlin has never had a losing season, has a winning playoff record and was the youngest head coach in NFL history to lead his team to a Super Bowl Championship. He’s made the playoffs each of the last three years, reaching the AFC championship game before falling to the event Super Bowl winning New England Patriots. “I truly appreciate this contract extension, and I want to thank (team president) Art Rooney II for his support as well as everyone within the organization,” Tomlin said in a statement. Tomlin, who is only 45 years old, is coaching a team with a high powered offense, a top tier quarterback and expectations are high for this coming season.
Is Tomlin worth keeping around for a few more years, or does he need to win another Super Bowl to justify his contract?
