Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s time on the track is almost over. The legendary driver just has a few races left before he is going to call it quits. As his time winds down, there will likely be many tributes to Dale Jr. being made.
This weekend at Talladega it will be Brad Keselowski doing the honors.
As you can see our car will also carry #cheers2dalejr on the side (Forgot that on 1st post).

Back in 2007 and 2008, Keselowski drover for Dale Jr. in the Xfinity series, so there is definitely a connection between the two. So, to show Dale Jr. some love this weekend, Keselowski paint scheme will mimic the one he used back then.
He made the announcement in a blog post on his website Monday night (bradracing.com):
Dale and I are great friends, and as many of you probably know, he gave me a chance to drive for him in 2007, and that opportunity changed my life. I was very, very fortunate to drive for him and to have his help building a career. I don’t know if I’d be where I am without him, but I’m glad I don’t have to find out.
So, to honor my friend and everything he’s done for me, we’re going to be racing with the scheme below this weekend, an homage to my days driving the NAVY 88.
It’s a nice move by one good driver to another. Well done Brad. Well done, indeed.
