The Panthers are almost ready for the season to begin.
China has its Great Wall, the Panthers are building theirs. After resigning Charles Johnson and bringing Julius Peppers back into the fold, the Panthers’ defensive line is just about set.
Well, you can add Kyle Love into the fold who just resigned for two years. He will help create a four man rotation at the tackle position alongside Kawann Short, Star Lotulelei and Vernon Butler. Team up with Johnson and Peppers, the Panthers are ready to terrorize quarterbacks and running backs.
The Panthers announced on Wednesday they have re-signed veteran defensive tackle Kyle Love to a two-year deal…. https://t.co/HE109X1QzU

Love has six years in the NFL, the last two with the Panthers. Known mainly has a run-stopper, he was originally drafted by the Patriots out of Mississippi St. He is familiar with the Panther’s defensive scheme and does grab a sack every now and then, totaling 4.5 in the last two seasons. Last season Carolina had the sixth ranked run defense in the NFL but the 29th ranked pass defense. A greater pass rush by the line will help support the secondary and hopefully help Carolina improve their win total and get back to the postseason.
Is this signing significant, or are you waiting for a breakout corner back to show up in Charlotte?
