Cowboys Just Got HUGE News On Injured Linebacker, I Didn’t Expect This..

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys are slowly getting healthy on the defensive side of the ball.

With players like DeMarcus Lawrence, Justin Durant, and Morris Claiborne just to name a few, the Dallas Cowboys are hoping to get all of them back and ready to go in their divisional round game against the Green Bay Packers.  With the good news, Dallas is hopeful that all the returning players can have an immediate impact and get back to playing the football they all did prior to their injuries.

Durant has missed the last two weeks with an elbow injury, but he is hopeful to get back on the field this weekend against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.  He was able to practice on Wednesday and said that he felt good in doing so, that is the first good sign of the linebacker getting back on the field to help this team anyway he can to move on in the playoffs.

On the season, Durant played in 13 games while registering a sack and three pass defensed.  He also had 37 total tackles with 24 being solo.  As a 10-year veteran linebacker, Durant was signed as a depth linebacker, but has played big at times throughout the season.

With Rodgers coming to town, the Cowboys must have all parties available to go.  They may be entering the playoffs as one of the healthiest teams, but they still have some key members on the sideline, but most should be back for their divisional round game.

Durant may not be the top talent on this defense, but he is a player that brings his veteran mind and his knowledge of where to be at for each play.  He isn’t just a player on the field, players like Durant can be a coach on the field as well, something that at times can be bigger than the player himself.  When you have Durant and Sean Lee in the middle level of the defense, you know you have the experience to put them in the correct positions to make the play.

Hopefully Durant is one of the returning players this weekend!
