Dak Prescott Good To Go On Sunday, No Issues With Right Hand

Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys dodged a major bullet last Thursday against the Washington Redskins.

The Cowboys can’t afford anymore injuries on their football team, especially to star players at key positions.  On Thursday night, Prescott injured his right hand when he was hit by a helmet on an option play.  The injury forced him to head to the locker room for an X-ray, but he didn’t miss a snap.

It appears he won’t miss any time as well (via Ian Rapoport).

“A few days after bruising his throwing hand in a Cowboys win, QB Dak Prescott is good to go.  He’s playing this week.”

Dak Prescott’s injury didn’t seem to fear many inside the Cowboys organization!

We wrote earlier that the Cowboys owner had no fear about the injury.  When he was asked about the injury to his starting QB, Jerry Jones replied, “I feel good about it.”  It appears that was true, and he won’t have to worry about another star player missing time this week.

Dallas is already down Ezekiel Elliott on offense, they can’t afford another major loss on offense.  Dallas looks to get Sean Lee back this week as he is expected to play on Sunday after missing the last three weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Prescott hasn’t played well without his All-Pro running back, Ezekiel Elliott behind him.  He has rushed throws and hasn’t played that mistake-free football that we are used to with Prescott.  However, the Cowboys finally got that win last week and Prescott didn’t turn the ball over.  He wasn’t lights out and still struggled early, but didn’t make a bad decision with the ball.

Do you think Prescott finally has that good game this week in New York?
