Rodgers proves yet again that he is one of the best at not just his position, but in the league.
The Green Bay Packers have been playing playoff football for the last month and winning with the right arm of their all-pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week this past weekend, despite supposedly being limited by an injured calf. That calf didn’t look too injured with the way the quarterback played on Sunday against division rival Minnesota Vikings.
Rodgers finished the game shredding a good defense against the pass. He had 347 yards on 28-38 passing, along with four touchdowns through the air and another score on the ground. To say that Rodgers was unstoppable is an understatement.
This week the Packers will need another big game from their quarterback as they head to Detroit to play the Lions on Sunday night in a game that will be a winner take all. The winner of the Green Bay and Detroit game will determine the NFC North with the loser possibly out of the playoffs completely. There are scenarios that both teams make the playoffs, but it would be better just to take care of business and get it by getting the victory.

Rodgers has been great over the last five weeks (5-0), that was when the Packers quarterback came out and said that the Packers were just going to run the table and see where they are at that time. That is exactly where they are and I can guarantee you that the rest of the teams in the playoffs don’t want any piece of this Green Bay team and are hoping that they lose on Sunday.
As long as Rodgers is running things in the huddle, the Packers have to be considered one of the favorites in the NFC. Every team in this league has flaws, but not everybody has a quarterback like Rodgers to eliminate those said flaws. The defense in Green Bay has been considered the flaw of this team, but even they have been playing better of late.
Next up is the Lions as the Packers look to get to the playoffs as one of the hottest teams in the league!
