GREEN BAY, Wis. – Packers Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre was back in Green Bay Wednesday night for the Lee Remmel Sports Awards Banquet.
Favre given the Distinguished Service Award.
He spoke before the banquet and was asked about Aaron Rodgers playing into his 40’s, which he’s said he thinks he can do.
Favre played until he was 41, and doesn’t see why Rodgers can’t play til then or beyond.
“Why stop at 40. He moves as well as anyone in the game right now. That’s big. The less you’re hit. Six, seven years from now, far down the road. But there’re no reason why he couldn’t play and play at a high level. I don’t see any decline in his game, unless he just doesn’t want to play anymore,” Favre said.
