REPORT: The Packers Just Got HUGE Help On Defense

Green Bay Packers

Josh Jones is back in the mix.

On Wednesday, Jones made his return to practice after injuring his ankle during practice on Tuesday. Jones had to be carted off the field and did not return.

Before practice, Packers head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters that Jones got stepped on and he didn’t suffer an ankle sprain. However, McCarthy did not say if Jones would be available for practice or not, so seeing Jones out on the field was surprising.

Getting Jones back is good new for the Packers who are dealing with a number of injuries. Defensive backs Davon House (hamstring) and Damarious Randall (concussion) did not practice and will likely not play on Saturday when the Packers face the Washington Redskins. And for other defensive players, rookies Montravius Adams (foot) and Vince Biegel (foot) will not practice this week.
