The Steelers have a lot of play makers on the offensive side of the ball, now the team looks to add to the defense to get back to the Super Bowl.
The Steelers went with defense in the first round by taking Wisconsin linebacker T.J. Watt. The younger brother of Houston Texans DE J.J. Watt, T.J. hopes to bring the same motor and ability as he sees his brother bring in the league. That is exactly what the Steelers saw in him when they used the 30th pick on the high motor pass rusher out of Wisconsin.
Watt had a great 2016 season at Wisconsin and looks to bring that same success to the NFL level with the Steelers. We saw a player in college go non-stop at the quarterback for 60 minutes, this is something the Steelers need on defense as they should be in the lead more times than not, allowing players like Watt get after the quarterback on a regular basis.

Following the tough loss to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship, the Steelers knew they needed to fix the defense more than they do with the offense. This pick is just the beginning as we expect to see the Steelers to be right back in that game for a shot at Super Bowl 52.
Could we be seeing a Watt take over in the NFL with T.J. joining his brother in the AFC in 2017?
