The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to get stronger on the offensive side of the ball.
The Steelers select USC wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster with the 62nd overall pick in the second-round. The move comes kind of as a surprise with the weapons the team already has on offense.
Some teams truly draft the best player available and that is exactly what the Steelers did with their second-round selection. Already with Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, and a returning Martavis Bryant, the Steelers add size on offense with Smith-Schuster.

At 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, Schuster is a huge target that will be used perfectly by Ben Roethlisberger. He may not be the fastest receiver, but he doesn’t need to be that in this offense. What he will bring is an attitude and physical frame to get the ball. He is excellent at going over the middle and abusing the cornerbacks before they do that to him.
Welcome to Pittsburgh and to the best offense in football!
