The Steelers take on the Bills in a big game that has huge playoff possibilities.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have jumped back in the hunt for the AFC North division title with three straight victories. They go for their fourth straight win in Buffalo against a Bills team that is desperate for a win to jump back in the playoff hunt.
The Steelers are great on offense as usual, but Ben Roethlisberger is not the same quarterback on the road as he is at home. With this game on the road, I see this being a big Le’Veon Bell game, especially with snow in the forecast. This has a feel of a game that is a ground and pound style to it with the weather that Buffalo is expecting on Sunday.
You never can count out Antonio Brown and he should be able to get his normal 8-10 targets, but I don’t see him having a monster…or as we have seen a normal Brown game. It seems that he is going for well over 100 yards and a score every week, but I have a feeling the Bills play well in the passing game, but allow Bell to get his through the ground.
As for the Bills offense, it’s simple, LeSean McCoy and maybe a little Sammy Watkins. McCoy is a beast and is always in the mix to be considered one of the best backs of the week, this week is no different. I think LeSean has a huge game as the Bills look to keep the ball away from Big Ben and the Steelers offense. If Buffalo is going to win this game, they must keep it on the ground and keep that clock running.
The Bills welcomed Watkins back from his injury two weeks ago, and he saw nine targets last week, but only could haul in three of them. With the weather looking to be bad and below temps on Sunday, I just don’t see Watkins having a big day, but he is always capable of taking a ball to the house on a big play. That is what I feel happens on Sunday, Watkins will only get 4-5 targets, but will have a big play to put his yards up there with the elites.
By the end of the game, I feel that he Steelers will do what they need to for them to get the win. It’s simple for me, Bell is the better back and can do more than that of McCoy. The Steelers come out of Buffalo with a tough fought win as they fight for that division lead.
Prediction: Pittsburgh 20 over Buffalo 16!
