He gets promoted because of an injury and reacts like this?
When Jordy Nelson got hit hard, a great deal of weight fell on Geronimo Allison’s shoulders. He’ll play a major role in the Green Bay offense this week against Dallas as one of Aaron Rodgers’ main targets.
Unfortunately, Allison also faces a marijuana charge that he’ll have to deal with in the next month or so. Allison will appear in court later this month on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana in Manitowoc County, nearby to Green Bay.

Apparently, Allison was pulled over on September 4, the day after he was released in the final cuts and then resigned to the Packers’ practice squad. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, police smelled marijuana coming from Allison’s car and found cigars that tested positive. After Odell Beckham and several other players were derided for taking a trip to Miami and posing for a photo with weed, Allison’s legal issues could not have come at a worse time. As the team prepares to face the team with the best record in the NFC, they have to answer questions about a backup wide receiver’s legal issues.
Does this worry you a week before Green Bay heads to Dallas, or do you think the team will face things in a business as usual manner?
