On Sunday, it will be 71 degrees in Miami, too bad the Dolphins will be in Pittsburgh.
After clinching the playoffs and the division last week, the Steelers waited to see who their first round opponent would be. They took their time defeating Cleveland in overtime, then got a gift from the football gods.
The Miami Dolphins will travel to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers in a projected 26 degree playoff game. Pittsburgh hosts the Dolphins on Sunday at 1 pm at Heinz Field. The Steelers are as healthy as they’ve been all season and come off a win over a divisional foe.
Kickoff time for our AFC Wild Card Playoff game against the Dolphins has been set.

Pittsburgh’s offense is running on all cylinders for the first time in a while. Ben Roethlisberger finished the year with over 3,800 yards passing, Le’Veon Bell rushed for over 1,200 yards and Antonio Brown finished over 1,200 receiving yards. At issue is, and has been all season, a defense which continued to struggle as it gave up 24 points to the lowly Browns including allowing Isaiah Crowell to rush for over 150 yards. While hosting Miami gives Pittsburgh an edge, its defense will have to step up if the team hopes to conquer the Dolphins’ effective running game.
Are you worried about the Pittsburgh D, or are you just excited the team is in the postseason?
