Finishing 6-10 last year has its pluses and minuses.
In 2016, the Carolina Panthers played prime time 5 times, in 2017 it will be just once. The Panthers start the regular season in San Francisco visiting the new look San Francisco 49ers.
The 2017 schedule has been released and it looks like Carolina has some tough days, but an easier overall schedule. They host the Bills, Saints, Eagles, Falcons, Dolphins, Vikings, Packers and Buccaneers, and they have away games against the 49ers, Patriots, Lions, Bears, Buccaneers, Jets, Saints and Falcons.

They have a late bye (week 11) and play three very winnable games before heading to New England to play the Super Bowl champs. The Panthers play one Thursday night game (home against the Eagles) and one Monday Night Game (also hosting, this time the Dolphins). The team plays several teams that went deep into the playoffs, Green Bay, New England, Atlanta but they’ve got some extremely winnable games against the 49ers, Bills and Bears. They are also home for three of their last four games. While the team only won 6 games last year, they’ll be poised to increase that total this season, with the playoffs being the bare minimum the team and its fans will stomach.
What do you think, is this a good schedule for Carolina, or are you worried about their season already?
